Has anyone used an electric rivet gun to build an airplane? How was it compared to a pneumatic gun?

I have a Zenith Super Duty kit on the way and I ordered their toolkit to go with it, which appears to come with a single pneumatic gun. I don't (yet) have an air compressor but I do have an assortment of Dewalt batteries, etc. Funny how those things pile up.

Are the rivet gun heads interchangeable? ie. can I take the heads that ship with the kit and use them in a different rivet gun?

Supposedly Zenith custom-machines the rivet gun heads to match their custom rivets and you have to either buy from them or send in your tools to have the custom machining applied.
