I'm weighing the differences between a Falco F.8L and The Osprey GP-4. I'd appreciate any comments comparing building and performance of these two aircraft. The mission profile is rapid cross-country composed of relatively long haul travel for two adults with some baggage space and full IFR capabilities. I will probably "slow build" using a minimum number of subkits (if such subkits are available). I realize that the range at cruise speeds will exceed my personal endurance but that will have the desirable effect of helping me to maintain adequate fuel reserves. I have average to a little better than average woodworking skillsand average patience, and I think that I will enjoy working with wood more than tube and fabric, composite or stressed metal monocoque construction. I would greatly appreciate comments both supporting building either aircraft or positing reasons against building them. Thank you in advance for your assistance. --Pete
