On a budget (ok, we all are) I want to fit a VW 1600cc to my Taylor Monoplane. I will put a Leburg ignition system on, but that will eat seriously into the budget. With the few pennies left, do I invest in bigger valves, Scat / performance cam for more power or a longer throw crank which will increase the cc & increase the torque at the low end but reduce max rpm?
