Andy Higgs had ambitious plans to manufacture and market these to GA. Unfortunately the process drew out past a decade, unit cost became unreasonable and IMO, their business plan was not feasible- as they planned to release multiple versions of this modular design simultaneously. Not many established engine companies can do that. A startup, no way without massive engineering, production and financial capabilities.
