    Drag reduction: If/how to close the gaps between wheel and wheelpant

    I've noticed that many airplanes (certified and otherwise) have quite a gap between the wheels and the wheelpants. Obviously, the wheel/tire needs some room to flex, but a big gap has got to have a drag penalty. Do racers and others fret over this? Maybe bridge the gap with some flexible...
