Having learned the difference between buckling and crippling recently I further post a test of my Z form structure......The fixture is not very stable so I was only able to accurately measure buckling of the flanges. There was no permanent deformation at 225 lb.......I did get deformation somewhere between 225 and 338 lb but the instability of the crude test did not allow an accurate reading. Not much of an improvement or even a test as confirming that Bruhn 73 is correct might be considered pretty stupid. But I had fun.
