Started working on a plane built in 1971, it's a Flaglor Scooter. It had an engine failure and an off field landing that took the landing gear out and smashed up the nose of the fuselage. It's owner fixed the structure over about a 5 year period. It was all inspected, then I covered it, he helped with the rib stitching and painting.. worked out great. Should be flying in the next few weeks. He put some really cool landing gear on it. They are the leaf springs from a chevy lumina. Fiberglass. They weigh 10 pounds and are just perfect for the plane. All that is left to do is to fabricate the windshield, run brake cables, a mixture cable, rig up the carb heat, and make a cowling for above the fuse.
